A Cause for Paws

Members of the Lang, Richert & Patch family and the general community came together on Saturday, May 18th, 2013, to assist in the building of a dog park at Animal Compassion Team of California’s Fresno location. Numerous plants, trees, shrubs, benches, and tables were placed throughout the property. The park provides a natural outdoor environment where people interested in adopting a pet from this no-kill shelter can spend time interacting with the candidates before bringing one home.

Mark L. Creede, construction litigation partner, member of the firm’s management committee, and owner of numerous “rescue” dogs in the past, spent that Saturday morning at ACT assisting in the dog park effort. He noted “This is an amazing place! ACT does such wonderful work and is 100% donation driven. I am proud that we at Lang, Richert & Patch can assist this very worthwhile organization, and I hope everyone in the Central Valley who is able will get behind ACT with their financial and volunteer support.”

Next on the firm’s community service project list is to provide backpacks and school supplies to a low-income elementary school in Fresno County. For more information, please email us at community@lrplaw.net.
